(Bangkok Post photo)His Majesty the King has scheduled Oct 25 - 29 for royal ceremonies to be held for the cremation of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, with the royal cremation - the most important event - set for Thursday, Oct 26. This was announced in a letter, dated April 18, from the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The letter from Krit Kanchanakunchorn, His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary, said the King has agreed to the schedule for royal ceremonies and the royal cremation, as suggested by an organising committee chaired by the prime minister. The prime minister's committee sent a letter with the suggested dates to the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary on March 31.
